Peter Turylo grew up in Toronto, Canada. He attended the University of Toronto where he completed both graduate and undergraduate degrees. Peter built a successful career in the engineering and IT fields for private companies in the telecommunications, banking, and finance sectors before he decided to transition into teaching.
Prior to joining the GRC IT Cybersecurity and Networking faculty, Peter was an IT Instructor and Department Chair at a private college in Seattle for eleven years.
Peter is the Executive Vice President of the Puget Sound Chapter of the Comptia Association of IT Professionals—a position he has held for the last ten years.
