Are you interested in Aviation? Did you know that you can earn an Airline Dispatcher Completion Certificate in just one year at Green River College?
What is an Airline Dispatcher? Dispatchers work with ground crew and pilots to ensure every flight goes smoothly.
The Airline Dispatch Degree Program prepares students for entry level jobs as Aircraft Dispatchers. Students completing this program will be eligible to test for the FAA Aircraft Dispatchers Certificate. Students may enter this program at the beginning of any quarter. Any students wishing to test must be at least 21 years of age on or before the completion of the course.

- AVIA 123 (weather)
- AVIA 270 (Air traffic fundamentals)
Winter Term
- AVIA 275 (Dispatch)
- AVIA 216 (instrument training)
- Interest class on main campus
Spring Term
- AVIA 107 (drone)
- AVIA 276 (Dispatch – Practical)
- AVIA 160 (Aviation Communications)
After 276, students are eligible to take the FAA Dispatcher Exam (if 21 and older)
At the end of the year, students earn an Aviation Technology - Airline Dispatcher Completion Certificate
