Advising for Current Students

Students are typically assigned to a faculty advisor or to an advisor in their program by their 2nd quarter or once they have declared their program of study. Assignments are made based on student program. Students can look up their advisor and current program of study. You should meet with your advisor each quarter to ensure you are staying on track.

Advising Day is a great opportunity to meet with your assigned advisor. Advising Days are held each quarter to allow students, faculty and staff time to connect, discuss degree and academic goals and review their educational plan. Advising Days are held a week before registration each quarter.

Students who need to change their declared degree or certificate goal should submit the "Program/Plan Change Request Form"

Students who need to change their program advisor should email with the following information:

  • Full name
  • ctcLink ID number
  • program of study
  • name of new program advisor if known)
